'The Suburban Footballer' joins top WA comics in a WIN for fans

If your footy team’s struggling for a win, your champions of homegrown humour are here to deliver a winning night for comedy fans.

For the first time this decade, Australia’s oldest comedy club welcome back Melbourne writer/performer (from Kinne Tonight, The Footy Show) and creator of 'The Suburban Footballer' (with 30M+ views) Tom Siegert in July; plus the return of MC Simone Springer (Foxtel, The Project, Sunrise, ABC Radio Breakky), fresh from touring Oz with hit ensemble The Motherhood.

Our supporting cast of future stars includes Raw Comedy finalist Charlotte Glance; Ultimate Funniest Comedian finalist Tyronne King; Perth-based Liverpudlian comic John Pinno; and more TBA. Plus, stick around to enjoy the 3rd & final portion of the show - the always unpredictable Open Mic.

Tix are cheaper online (more on the door) and you can save even more on your lol-fix booking Earlybird seats for a limited time/while they last, or our great value Dinner & Show ticket, incl. entry and a main meal (vegan/vego/GF options available).

Last month was busy, so recommend locking these lols in sooner than later; there are NO fees, and booking puts you in the draw to WIN a $50 food & drink voucher from our host venue!

SPECIAL EVENT: NicMac's Fringe winning hit is back!

Perth’s premier asexual comedian, Nicola Macri, is taking sexy away again by taking umbrage with euphemism when her FRINGE WORLD Comedy Weekly Award winning Single Entendre encores en route to Edinburgh Fringe - in Perth for one night only!.

This linguistics fan loves the enigma of language, but some things must be made clear. Sometimes a sausage is just a sausage. And sometimes a gal just wants to use the eggplant emoji to celebrate an excellent vegetable without your filthy giggles.

It’s time to strip (non-sexily) comedy of its obsession with dirty wordplay. Bring on the single entendre!

This fundraising performance is your final chance to enjoy Nicola's "perfect mix of storytelling, education and hilarious comedy" (Fourth Wall Media) inducing a "constant stream of laughs" (OutInPerth), before the show heads to this year's Edinburgh Fringe.

Choose a standard ticket; 'double the love' ticket (entry + donation to the show's Edinburgh travel fund); or, for the less flush, there will be limited 'pay what you can' seats available at the door on the night. You can also donate directly to Nicola's travel fund here.

Bookings are recommended as seating's unreserved & shows often do sell out. Plus, there are NO fees AND booking puts you our monthly draw to WIN a $50 food & bevvie voucher from host venue The Shoe Bar & Cafe.

"Nicola Macri is wicked clever." ★★★★½ Fringefeed, 2020

Hooray for comedée!

Why be on the couch in the burbs waiting for your lucky lotto numbers when WA Comedy's Fave Venue 2022 has your hot midweek ticket to a winning night out!

Headlining this month is none other than the face of Oz Lotto and member of sellout comedy ensemble The Motherhood, Emma Krause; while hosting June's 3rd-Wednesday-of-the-month lineup of pro & rising star comics is UK guest & international fringe fave Andrew Silverwood.

Our homegrown acts include Deadly Funny (First Nations national comedy comp) finalist Dora Smith; the feelgood fish-out-of-water tales of Indian West Aussie comic Shash Kapur, along with Steve Hodgen (FRINGE WORLD's Three Bearded Blokes), Molly Kerr, Adam Gray, and more TBA - including in the third & final portion of the night, the always unpredictable Open Mic, where you could witness comedy's next big thing.
