Hot on the heels of our sold-out b’day show, we welcome home Jez Watts (Edinburgh Festival's 10 Best Jokes - Guardian UK, 2018) & the return of his epic international cult hit new material night.

After a smashing first outing at The Laugh Resort in May, 50 First Jokes invites all Perth comedians to deliver up to 2.5 minutes of brand new, completely untested jokes. The record is 53 acts in one show - how high can we go?

Hosted by Jez (doing new jokes too) and headlined by the unique & outrageous WA rising star Thabo, this night promises all new jokes, never before seen or heard. There'll be good. There'll be bad. And there could be a spot for YOU.

Fresh from his smashing Edinburgh debut 'African Aussie' is the one & only Emo, joined by 2018 WA Comedian of the Year joint winners Sian Choyce and tonight show host Colin Ebsworth, along with rare appearances from Famous Sharron and adopted UK crusher Ben Sutton (from award winning series Hug the Sun).

The best of comedy's new crew will include 2x Raw Comedy WA Finalist Tori Griffiths and a first time visit from ex-Perthling now Melb-based rising star Sashi Perera, plus lots more TBA.

Following packed houses June-July, Perth Comedy's (peer-voted) Fave Venue 2020 is stoked to welcome back some local legends.

This month stars not one but two of The Laugh Resort's all-time fave headliners: ex-Club manager and Comedy Lounge founder, once dubbed the 'King of Perth Comedy', Werzel; and father of Jokers Comedy (Hobart), ex-Perthling Gav Baskerville.

Nickelodeon and NatGeo TV host Luke Ryan returns to MC August's third-Wednesday-of-the-month showcase, with rising star support acts including 2020 Raw Comedy WA Finalist Miss Samia & more TBA. Plus, stick around for the third portion of the night for the always unpredictable and surprising open mic!
